Who We are...

The Modderfontein Golf Club, situated in a quiet neighbourhood of Edenvale in the East Rand, was founded in 1935 and opened by Bobby Locke.
Since then it has been upgraded, with the clubhouse being rebuilt in 1997.
It is rated among the top 100 courses in South Africa by Golfers Digest and sees over 40 000 round per year. It is a very good venue for Corporate and social events with excellent facilities overlooking our superb golf course.

Ladies Tee Times

Please be advised that Saturday AM rounds are reserved for male members only.
POLICY WITH REGARDS TO LADIES PLAYING ON SATURDAY AFTERNOONS
A lady member or lady visitor may play at any time on a Saturday afternoon, provided the following conditions are adhered to:

Is affiliated to a recognised Golf Club and Golf Union.

Has a recognised handicap with the South African Golf Association.

Is over the age of 18 years.

Should the lady member be under the age of 18 years, she must be a single figure handicap, as per the policy regarding junior members.

Only mixed four balls will be allowed for those ladies not playing in the normal ladies stipulated times.
-
Men and Ladies mixed four balls, playing on a Saturday afternoon, will not be entitled to enter into any Men nor Ladies competitions provided on the day.
-
Ladies Trophy competition days must be played within the allocated ladies times, to be eligible for prizes.
